What Some Recent Reviews Say about Our Temecula Church
Our Temecula church recently received an influx of reviews on Google, and we are happy to say that they have been overwhelmingly positive! People had so many great things to say about Sunridge and their experience here.
This type of public feedback serves two important purposes. First of all, it helps people who are looking for a local church gain some insight into what they can expect if they decide to visit Sunridge. Second, it gives our church leadership a glimpse into how we’re doing.
As a church that is on a mission to help people find and follow Jesus, it was encouraging to read that so many people are coming to our church and hearing the gospel message and growing in their faith. It was also great to see that people are connecting with other believers and finding a true community here at Sunridge!
As we read through the reviews, some patterns started to emerge. Here are some common themes that popped up:
Welcoming
Many people used the word “welcoming” when describing their initial experience at our Temecula church. Here are a few actual comments:
“Everyone is so welcoming!”
“I felt welcomed right away.”
“…from day one, I felt warmly welcomed.”
“From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and embraced.”
“I love how welcoming they are to everyone of all types…”
We love to hear this! It tells us that we are doing a good job of making sure new people feel like this is a place where they can belong—even before we know what they believe. It also says that we are open to widening our circle to allow others in. We never want to be a church that feels like a “Members Only club,” but instead, we want to be a church that embraces anyone who wants to be a part of our church family.
Feels Like Home
Another common theme among people who left reviews was that Sunridge is a place that feels like “home.” Here are some of the comments related to that:
“Sunridge is a place to call home.”
“I felt ‘HOME’ the first time I attended Sunridge over 6 months ago. And that feeling continues to grow as I feel the presence of God during the Sunday service and being with others who are part of Sunridge.”
“I have six children, ranging from 13 years old to 18 months, and we’ve all felt at home here.”
So, not only do people feel welcomed initially, but they also feel like it’s a place they can stay and put down roots. The word “home” also implies that our church body is like a family, where people care about each other, support each other, and grow together.
Clear and Understandable Sermons
Many reviewers also commented about the sermons that our pastors preach on Sundays. Several people made a point of saying that they love that the messages taught by our pastors are biblically based and easy to understand. Here are a couple of quotes:
“Pastor Jed & Pastor Brit always give easy to understand messages straight from the bible.”
“I’ve truly been enjoying the pastors and other teachers. They’ve been doing a wonderful job sharing God’s Word in a clear, biblical way.”
We know that not everyone who attends our church has a background of biblical knowledge—and that’s okay! We want our Sunday morning messages to be understandable, regardless of how much people know (or don’t know) about the Bible. Our hope is that our messages help people draw closer to Jesus. For those who want to go deeper and learn more, we also offer Bible studies and Growth Groups that anyone can join. And of course, we encourage everyone to read the Bible on their own and ask the Holy Spirit to guide them as they seek to grow in the truth of God’s word!
