Meet Our Elders
Children’s Ministry Associate

Megan Duren

Levi and I love being part of the Sunridge Family! I’m so excited to be part of Children’s Ministry and serving Sunridge as the Children’s Ministry Associate!

Before getting married to my love, I studied Sociology/Social Justice and Intercultural Studies at Biola University. We were thrilled to pack up and head to our new adventure here in Temecula; we are absolutely loving this area! Our little family is complete with two adorable little kitten babes at home who love to cuddle and play. I love all things Disney, tea, baking, British television, outdoors and travel. I’m always up for adventuring and definitely have a constant case of wanderlust. I love experiencing new cultures and meeting new people with uniquely beautiful backgrounds. One of my favorite things to do is spend time with friends chatting over a nice cup of chai tea!

Women’s Ministry Director

Pam Dvorak

Getting to know women and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus is something I am passionate about so being Women’s Ministry Director here at Sunridge really is my dream job. Creating places and events so women can connect with one another and discover God’s purpose and plan for their lives brings me so much joy! I also love to laugh and just hang out with my friends and family. I am married to a wonderful man, and we have a 21-year-old son and 20-year-old daughter. Because our kids are more or less independent, we also have four dogs that are more spoiled than they should be! I enjoy running, cooking, having long talks in coffee shops, and riding beach cruisers along any of our beautiful Southern California beaches!

Audio Tech

Andrew Dykhouse

Working at Sunridge has been a wonderful experience for me. I grew up in this church, coming with my parents when they first attended in 1996. As I grew older, I began helping out my dad, who started out playing piano in the worship band. I would help set up the stage, plugging things in, and then sit next to him for the duration of the service. From there, he moved to the audio position and that was where I was first exposed to the world of audio and video. He taught me everything that I know. Ever since then, I’ve enjoyed working in audio, and now I have the opportunity to serve the church I grew up in! I graduated from California Baptist University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in English. While studying English is my true passion, working as an audio engineer is still something I enjoy immensely! While I’m not working at Sunridge, I enjoy hiking, cooking, playing the flute, photography, and reading

Children’s Minister

Haley Falcioni

We are so thrilled to be living out our ministry calling here in the Temecula Valley! Anthony and I are passionate about serving, giving, hosting, and being a part of a Christ-centered community.

Before beginning my time here at Sunridge, I had the opportunity to be the High School Ministries Associate at Friends Church in Yorba Linda where I grew up. I served in Youth Ministry, and was able to gain valuable ministry experience under my mentors at Friends. God used my time volunteering – prior to going on staff – to create in me a love for teamwork, creativity, organization, and interestingly enough, MAKING MESSES (the bigger the mess, the bigger the fun)!

Working in Children’s Ministry has been exciting, stretching, and so much fun. I have loved getting to watch the kids in our ministry get to know and love Jesus as they learn about Him! I am extremely honored to be able to share my love of Christ with our children and volunteers, as well as walk alongside the sweet, awesome families we have here!

Director of Groups & Connections

Heather Fretz

It has been such an honor to join the staff at Sunridge and to work alongside this amazing family! I find joy in watching God’s people thrive in relationship with Him, growing in an understanding of who He is and who we are in Him. As the Rooted facilitator, I love that this study is a way for us to connect to God, His church, and our purpose.

I am a San Diego native, so the beach is my happy place! I love to read, organize, and hang out with friends and family, but my passion is being a wife and mama to my two growing kids.

High School Pastor

Joseph Lee — “Mojo”

I am so excited and honored to serve on staff at Sunridge as the High School Pastor. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration, but had always found myself attracted to volunteering or working in ministry. I have a passion for walking alongside and pointing students to the person of Christ. Through working at a summer camp for many summers as well as leading a small group for my previous church’s high school ministry, I found that working with high schoolers is a big passion of mine. Previously, I served as the Director of College Ministries at Rolling Hills Covenant Church and had a great time there. I am very thankful that God has led me to Sunridge and the people in this community

Operations Coordinator

Gigi Leslie

I get to encourage Sunridge members to use their gifts to love and serve their church. It’s a privilege to walk alongside so many people to accomplish everything from keeping our building clean to volunteering in the front office. There are many opportunities to be part of a serve team and I would love to help you find your special place.

Chip and I grew up at the beach, so naturally we love anything to do with the beach. I enjoy watching Chip surf and taking long walks in the wet sand. We also love driving up the coast to San Luis Obispo to visit our college students any chance we can get.

Facilities Manager, Men’s Ministry Associate

Tony Lewis

My family and I have made Sunridge our church home since 2005. Since retiring after 30 years of service in the United States Marine Corps in 2014, I have found a path I’m equally passionate about. As I embark upon serving and being a part of teams that are dedicated to furthering the Lord’s Kingdom, I pray for direction and clarity in my service.

As the Facilities Lead, the flesh and bones of our campus is my number one priority. The job entails all aspects of keeping our campus in tip-top shape. In order to carry out the myriad of tasks necessary to accomplish this, I will be cultivating a team of staff members and volunteers who take pride in the upkeep and presentation of our church home.

My wife, Rebecca, and I enjoy camping, hiking, and kayaking. We have a long-term goal of accomplishing all three activities in every state in the union!

Executive Pastor of Ministry

Jedley Manimtim

I trace my calling to the faithfulness God showed me as a teen when I struggled with my mom’s passing, and my heart is for students to find fulfillment in following Jesus.

I earned a Youth and Family Ministry degree from Hope International, and left college with a wonderful wife, Mallary. Prior to Sunridge, I spent four great years in student ministries at Friends Church of Yorba Linda. Mallary and I love our sons, Thadden, born in 2012, Titus born in 2015 and Truett born in 2017.

Connecting Pastor

Ken Munsey

My wife Debbie and I knew Sunridge would be our church home soon after we began attending services in 1994. Now that I’ve retired from a 26-year career as a firefighter, I feel blessed and honored to serve on the Sunridge staff, and I’m trusting God to lead the way for me to serve him.

Connecting pastor is a new position for Sunridge, and we see my role ranging from attracting visitors, to welcoming those who are visiting, to helping members connect who want to be more involved in the Sunridge community. This is perfect fit for me because I love meeting new people, especially those who are searching for a relationship with God or are new to Christianity.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my wife and playing the bag pipes with a fire department band

Local and Global Partnership Directors

Lisa & Matthew Owens

We are passionate about connecting the body of Christ at Sunridge with God’s universal mission of redeeming and reconciling all of creation to Himself. What an unfathomable grace that we, as God’s people, get to participate in His work here, near, and far away! Our work centers on exploring ways to inspire, equip, and engage the people of Sunridge with the mission of God in the world and the work of God in the wider body of Christ, both locally and globally.

Matthew spends most days teaching middle school math in Murrieta and Lisa studying for a degree in Intercultural Studies at Fuller Seminary. Definitely guilty of wanderlust, we are most happy when heading out of town with our kids to explore new places and see what God is up to in this great big world of His.

Director of Care and Help

Marla Pitzek

Sunridge has been our family’s church home since 2001. I have had the privilege of playing a part in starting the Church Counseling Ministry at Sunridge and teaching and supervising our wonderful team members. I have degrees in psychology from UCLA, Biblical Counseling and Biblical Studies from International School of Theology, and Counseling Psychology from Cal Baptist. After 20 years as a licensed therapist, I am grateful for God’s grace to bring me back to my first passion. Other activities I enjoy are hanging out with my husband watching college sports or going to plays. I also love to be active playing tennis or volleyball or hiking.

Maintenance Technician

Daniel Sanchez

I’ve been attending Sunridge since 2011 and feel blessed to be able to use my skills to serve my home church. Serving is important to me, and while I was working on my degree in theology from Calvary Bible College in Murrieta, I had the life-changing experience of serving for three semesters in Lima, Peru. In addition to my part-time job with Sunridge, I have a construction job where I do everything from electrical work to landscaping.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me listening to music, reading, or watching a movie. My favorite movies are documentaries, especially on the topic of creation vs. evolution, but I also enjoy movies with lots of action. Speaking of action, I love sports, but I’d much rather play sports than watch them!

Genie Sandoval

It’s such a joy to be part of the Sunridge team where people have a drive and purpose to serve Jesus and impact His people by bringing God’s hope to our communities.

I was born and raised in the Inland Empire and was one of eight children. Most of my influence comes from my Dad who taught me to be strong and independent at a young age. I’ve worked in insurance and new home sales.

Will and I have been married for 26 years, and I have been privileged to stay home and raise our two sons who now attend college. I love spending time with my family and spoiling them. We enjoy cold nights by the fire pit playing games; watching the sun come up on early morning runs; helping young people with their finances; and visiting the elderly. I look forward to traveling with my husband and seeing the world.

Executive Pastor of Operations

Bob Santy

A native Californian, I grew up in Escondido where I eventually met the love of my life, Diane. We married in 1989 and made the big move all the way to Temecula in 1992, where we raised our two daughters. Tired of commuting to Escondido to attend church, we found Sunridge in 1996, and we knew we were hooked. So much so, that in 2006, I left my career at Callaway Golf to come on staff. I am still in shock that I get to use the practical gifts God gave me to forward the mission of Jesus at Sunridge. As the Pastor of Business and Finance, it is my desire to use our resources to share the Good News of Jesus throughout this Valley and beyond.

When time permits, I like to unwind by hiking, playing basketball, and an occasional round of golf.

Lead Pastor

Britt Sipe

We moved from Huntington Beach to this Valley in 1989. Like most people at that time, we were in search of affordable housing and good schools. That move turned out to be so much more than we ever imagined. Our family built a life here. This community became “our home town,” and Sunridge our “home church.” We’ve been at Sunridge since 1992, serving in a variety of capacities – everything from middle school volunteer to Executive Pastor. In 2014, I made a life altering decision to leave a fire service career and accept the lead pastor position at Sunridge. I have never looked back. We love this community, and we love being part of a team that is helping people find and follow Jesus.

When I’m not on campus, you’re likely to find me surfing, mountain biking, or just hanging out with friends and family. On days when all of these can happen simultaneously, I am a very happy man! Cindy and I have been married for 40 years and are fortunate to have our kids and grand kids close by.

Global Outreach Trip Coordinator

Lisa Stewart

I recruit, train and lead Sunridge members on mission trips outside the U.S., where we assist established churches in sharing the Gospel and planting new churches.

On Sunday mornings I serve as Sunridge’s prayer coordinator. In addition, I work for e3 Partners Ministry as a church planting coordinator and Nepal country director.

I love hanging out with my family and friends, taking long walks, and learning new things!

Middle School Pastor

Danny Sugimoto

I grew up in Sacramento, CA, and I moved out to Temecula in 2013 after completing a degree in Biblical Studies at Hope International University. I have a passion for serving students and helping them engage with the communities surrounding them. When I’m not at the office you can typically find me at home spending time with my wife, Nicole, and our son, Theo.

Event Coordinator

Teresa Thompson

I have a passion for entertaining and cooking, and feel blessed to be able to use the gifts God has given me to serve at Sunridge as the event coordinator.

Our married daughter Emily is in graduate school, and Hannah is a student at Azusa Pacific University. We love to travel and spend time with family and friends. I also love the beach, doing all kinds of crafts, playing games, and just having a good time laughing.

Youth Associate

Teddi Thyfault

I am beyond excited to be a part of this team! I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University (go Sea Lions!) with a Degree in Communications. I always was involved in Children’s Ministry growing up and LOVED it. I spent the last few summers working at a Christian camp with lower elementary, middle schoolers and high schoolers. It was there that I realized the love and passion that the Lord had placed in my heart for ministry and decided to move back to Temecula to pursue youth ministry.

I am thrilled to be a part of this awesome team and church. I cannot wait to see how the Lord continues to use this ministry to grow me as well as how he uses me as I get to walk alongside the students and parents in our youth ministry.

In my free time, you can usually find me doing anything outside, but most likely chilling on the beach. I also enjoy Corgis and surfing and coffee, in no particular order.
