Are You Coming to the Harvest Hangout at Our Temecula Church?

There’s so much to love about the Fall season in the Temecula Valley! The weather finally starts to cool down after many months of relentless heat. We tend to settle into new schedules, with school back in session and regular church activities starting up again. And we start looking forward to the upcoming holiday season.

As a church, we want to take some time out from our schedules to spend some intentional time in fellowship together. We love our fellowship time on Sunday mornings, but we know that there’s not always an adequate amount of time to really get to know others within the church. That’s why we’ve planned a special event that will allow you to just hang out and get to know the people you worship with on Sunday mornings.

We’re calling this event our “Harvest Hangout,” and it’s going to be a great time! There will be food, pumpkin-themed activities, and plenty of time to meet new people and catch up with the ones you already know in a festive, relaxed environment.

The Harvest Hangout is happening on Sunday, October 19^th, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Sunridge multi-purpose room. So, come and worship with your church family in the morning. Go home and watch some football, take a nap, or do whatever it is you do on Sunday afternoons, and then come back and join us for dinner and fellowship in the evening at our Temecula church!

As far as food goes, we’ll be having a chili and homemade bread competition, and we’d love to taste your best recipes! (We’ll let you decide if chili should have beans or not—we’re not going to touch that hotly debated topic!) If you bring a crockpot of chili or a loaf of homemade bread, the event is free for you and your family. For everyone else, the cost is $10 per person, or a flat fee of $30 for a family of three or more. There will also be a baked potato bar, so you will be sure to get plenty of food to eat before the night is over!

The Harvest Hangout won’t be the same without you and your family! So, make sure you sign up, put it on your calendar, and plan on being there with everyone else who calls Sunridge Church their home church! Even if you’re brand new to our Temecula church, we’d love to see you there and get to know you better. Everyone is invited, including kids of all ages.
