Jesus tells us that God is our Father; and we were meant to be part of His family, but what does that mean? So many of us today struggle with our idea of who our Father is, what He is like and what He thinks about us. Jesus said He revealed what our Father is like through His words and actions. The Gospel of Luke records one of His most well-known parables, The Parable of the Prodigal Son. You’ve probably read it, heard it, or listened to messages preached about it more than once, but perhaps there is more to it. If you have a desire to grow closer to our Father and to get a glimpse of His heart for you, join us as we study this parable in depth with new eyes and open hearts. This 5 week study meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 beginning on April 1 on Zoom.

Come and join us for a 4 week study that will inspire and encourage you in your relationship with God. Each week will be taught by a different woman from Sunridge. Each of them will share the passage of scripture that made God come alive for them. Our hope is that you will learn more about God’s love for you and be inspired to spend more time getting to know God through opening your own Bible and finding that God comes alive for you as well as you get to know Him better. We will get to know one another, and you will discuss what you are learning with the other women at your table! To make it even better, we will provide you with a delicious dinner! The dates for this study are March 19, 26, April 2 and 9 from 6:30-8:30 in the MPR on the Sunridge campus. Cost for this study is $25. To sign-up, click here: Girl, Open Your Bible
As Christians, we are not promised lives of ease. Often it takes just a small moment of beauty to regain hope and continue on when life is chaotic and unpredictable. Only when we learn to spot the lovely in the midst of hardship can we experience the transcendent peace of God that keeps us persevering when we want to give up. In this 7-session Bible study, Annie F. Downs examines the ordinary people of the Bible—fishermen, gardeners, women, soldiers—to reveal the moments they found beauty in everyday circumstances and hope in God’s timing. Because they trusted in this: He makes everything beautiful in His time. This study begins on Thursday, January 16. Class time is 6:30-7:30 AM on the church campus. Who, What, & Why
The Post is our young adults ministry for those who are generally post-college or in their mid-20s to mid-30s. At Sunridge, we recognize the need for friendship and a sense of belonging, regardless of your season of life. Because responsibilities increase and relationships typically decrease as we age, The Post exists simply to provide a space to connect with other young adults at Sunridge on a monthly basis. Our hope is that this monthly, informal gathering serves as a launching point for ongoing friendship and connection.
When & Where
The Post meets for lunch at the Ryan Bros Patio on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 12:15pm. This gives us access to several eateries and coffee, along with spacious, outdoor seating. In addition to this monthly gathering, we’ll keep you in the know for quarterly events or other outings. Be sure to join our mailing list (info below) to stay current with what we have going on.
If you have questions about The Post, please contact Jessie at email@example.com.
