Two Women’s Bible Studies Are Starting Up in February at Our Temecula Church. Here’s Why You Should Sign Up
We love our Sunday morning gatherings here at Sunridge! They provide great opportunities for us to worship the Lord together, dig into His Word, and fellowship with other believers.
Whether you would still consider yourself a “visitor” or have moved into the category of “regular attender,” we would encourage you to get more involved in what our church has to offer if you haven’t already. For the women in our Temecula church, we have two great new Bible studies starting up this month, and we would love it if you signed up!
There are multiple benefits to joining a Bible study group at Sunridge. Here are just a few of them:
Learn How to Study the Bible on Your Own
Listening to a sermon on Sunday mornings is great, and you can certainly learn a lot from the pastors at our Temecula church, but we believe it’s also important to learn how to study the Bible on your own. Joining a Bible study can help you do this.
The studies we offer at Sunridge are designed to help guide you through God’s Word. As you work through the study materials, they will show you how to read and understand passages of scripture. They will explain concepts that might be new to you, and they will ask you questions and then point you to the areas of the Bible where you can find the answers.
It is our hope that at the end of one of these studies, you will feel more confident in your knowledge of God’s Word and how to read it to gain insight into the Christian faith!
Grow in Your Faith with Other Believers
It is certainly possible to grow in your faith by studying the Word on your own, but you can grow much more when you study with other believers! We can learn so much from each other! In your study group, you will likely have a combination of seasoned believers, new believers, and everyone in between. The newer believers can gain knowledge and understanding from believers who have been studying the Word and walking with the Lord for many years. The seasoned believers can gain encouragement and a fresh perspective from those who are experiencing God’s goodness for the first time. Are you going through a trial right now? Someone in your group may have gone through something similar and can share how God was faithful to bring them through it. Do you need prayer? Those in your small group are there to lift your concerns to the Lord and share in your joy when prayers are answered!
Make New Friends at Your Temecula Church
As you study the Word together and share your lives with one another, you may find some women with whom you connect on a personal level. Many great friendships have started in Bible study groups and have continued long after the study was over! Even if you don’t find your new bestie in your Bible study group, it’s always great to get to know more people in your church beyond just what you can learn about them on a Sunday morning.
Women’s Bible Studies You Can Sign Up for Today at our Temecula Church
We have two great new Women’s Bible studies from which you can choose right now. The first one is a study titled Armor of God, written by Priscilla Shirer. The second is The God You Need to Know by Margaret Feinberg. In each of these studies, you will go through a workbook on your own and then come to church on Wednesday mornings to discuss what you learned with your group. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions that came up as you completed your study at home.
You will watch a video together that contains a teaching by the author, which will complement the study. Then, you will go into group discussion time. You will have a leader who will guide the group discussion and facilitate a time of prayer. As you go through the study with the women in your group, we encourage everyone to seek the Lord, share openly, ask questions, listen respectfully, and commit to faithfully praying for one another. This is how everyone will get the most out of your time together!
Both of these studies start on February 4th at the Sunridge campus. The Armor of God study goes through March 18th, and The God You Need to Know ends on April 29th.
