A Church in Temecula Where Your Children Are Valued and Cared for Well
Finding a church in Temecula that is the right fit for your entire family can be a challenge. Perhaps you’ve visited churches in the area with excellent Bible teaching, meaningful worship services, and engaging small groups for adults, but found that there were limited opportunities for your children. Or maybe your teenagers connected with a church’s youth group, while the rest of your family struggled to build relationships or feel at home.
The truth is that no church in Temecula—or anywhere else—is able to meet every need of every family that walks through its doors. Every family has unique backgrounds, experiences, and expectations. At Sunridge, however, we are committed to serving as many families as possible. We want every family to know they are welcome here, that they will be genuinely cared for, and that every member of the family, regardless of age, will have the opportunity to hear the life-changing message of the gospel.
At Sunridge, children are never an afterthought. We intentionally invest significant time, resources, and leadership into our children’s and student ministries. Every week, dozens of dedicated volunteers create a safe, welcoming environment where kids can learn about Jesus in age-appropriate and engaging ways.
Our volunteers are members of our church who have a genuine love for children and a desire to help them grow in their faith. To help ensure a safe environment for every child, all volunteers undergo background checks and receive ongoing training on our church’s policies and procedures for working with minors. We believe parents should have confidence that their children are being cared for by trained, trustworthy adults.
Later this month, on August 22, our church will host a special workshop for current children’s and student ministry volunteers, as well as anyone interested in serving in these ministries. We’ve planned a full day that includes prayer, practical training sessions, fellowship, and encouragement. Participants can also receive specialized training on ministering to children who have experienced trauma, as well as best practices for serving children and families with special needs. These sessions are designed to equip volunteers with practical tools to minister with both compassion and wisdom.
Our hope is that this workshop will strengthen our volunteers, deepen their relationships with one another, and better prepare them to serve the children and students who attend our church in Temecula. As our ministry grows, we want every child and teenager to feel valued and supported as they develop their faith.
We encourage anyone who currently serves—or is considering serving—in our children’s or youth ministries to attend. Whether you’re an experienced volunteer or simply exploring how you can get involved, this training will provide valuable encouragement and practical instruction. You won’t want to miss it! Learn more about the training event and sign up today. We look forward to seeing you there.
If you ever have questions about our children’s or youth ministries, please reach out to one of our pastors. They are always happy to answer your questions, explain what your children can expect, or provide more information about the ministries available at Sunridge. We would love to help you discover whether our church in Temecula is the right place for your family to grow in faith together.
