How Sunridge Does Men’s Ministry Differently Than Other Churches in Temecula

As a church that’s been around for more than 30 years in the Temecula Valley, Sunridge Church has approached men’s ministry in a variety of ways over the years. We’ve organized and hosted different groups and events where men could connect, while also encouraging each other and growing in their walks with the Lord.

There’s no one “right” way to do men’s ministry, which is why you’ll find different churches in Temecula approaching it very differently.

Here are some of the avenues for connection we offer to men at Sunridge Church. Whether you are brand new to our Temecula church (even if you’ve only visited once!) or you’ve been with us for decades, you are welcome to attend!

Men’s Sunday Huddle

Every Sunday, before our morning service, a group of men meets to read a passage of scripture and pray together. It’s an informal gathering that currently meets in room 109 at 9:10 am. There’s no need to sign up or even tell anyone you’re coming. Just show up!

Men’s Quarterly Breakfast

Once a quarter, the men in our church get together on a Saturday morning for a delicious breakfast (usually breakfast burritos!), as well as a time of worship and a message from the Bible. It’s always a great time and we love seeing new faces at these events!

Our next Sunridge Men’s Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 8:00 am. You can sign up here, and you are always welcome to bring a friend or two who could use a word of encouragement and some time with other Christian men.

Groups for Men

If you’re looking for a group in which you can study the Bible with other believers, we encourage you to join one of our Growth Groups. Growth Groups meet in homes throughout the Temecula Valley, and although they aren’t exclusively for men, you will certainly find plenty of other men in these groups.

We also have several groups for men that we call “Affinity Groups.” These groups are designed to connect men with similar hobbies. We currently have an open-gym basketball group that meets most Thursday and Saturday mornings, a golf group that gets together to play a round a few times during the year, and a mountain biking group that goes on local rides about once a month. The events and groups mentioned above aren’t the only ways we have for men to be involved at our Temecula church. There are also many opportunities for men to connect through serving together at our church or in the community.
