Joy Comes From Contentment

Britt Sipe

enJOY Joy. We all want it, but it can be elusive. Sometimes our path in life turns us in a direction that is rugged. The apostle Paul spoke from such an experience when writing to friends in the Roman colony of Philippi. He encouraged them to be joyful – truly remarkable because he penned those words while imprisoned just for boldly declaring the gospel. Instead of grieving over his unfair bondage, he revealed the secret of enjoying life, every day, even while on a difficult detour. If you'd like to wake up each morning gladly anticipating the opportunities that await, join us for a series of teachings from Philippians. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)
