We celebrate our Savior, whose life, death, and burial were the cause for many tears but whose resurrection and presence are the source of comfort – for those in need today, just as Mary wept in the garden – but with hope toward our resurrection into a new heaven and a new earth, where: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:4
