Sunridge MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a group dedicated to helping women get connected with others during what we believe can be a super stressful and lonely time…motherhood of small children!
Many people ask us what a typical MOPS morning looks like? It starts with dropping your kiddos off in childcare. Our childcare workers have a background and reference check before they can take care of our little ones. After you drop them off, you go to your table which will have the same people throughout the semester. We start the meeting with coffee/tea and a delicious brunch. Seriously, we aren’t trying to brag, but we are known for our brunch! Then each meeting will have either a speaker who talks about a wide range of topics such as: parenting, relationships, cooking, finances, etc.; or we work on a super simple craft while we talk to the people at our tables. At 11:30, we gather our stuff and go pick up our kids.
Each table has a table leader who will organize play dates during the month. We are passionate about people feeling connected and having a purpose. This life was not meant to be lived alone so come and join us as we walk side by side in this crazy phase of life with little sleep and high hormones!
Any mom with at least one child in kindergarten or younger is able to join. We meet the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 9:30-11:30 am. Our Fall semester starts in September, and Spring semester begins in January. The cost to join our MOPS is $100 per semester and that covers all children you have that require childcare during our program, or $65 per semester with no childcare. Small babies are more than welcome to come with you, but we ask that once they are moving around they are placed in childcare in order to help all of us focus on the speaker.
