The MomCo at Sunridge, is a group dedicated to helping women (with children of the ages of 0-19 years old) get connected with others during each stage of motherhood!
Many people ask us what a typical morning at The MomCo looks like? For those with kids ages kindergarten and younger, childcare is provided. You will drop your littles off in childcare, where they are cared for by our workers who have been background and reference checked. All ladies will go to their table, based on the life stage of your child(ren), where you will meet with the same mamas throughout the semester. For example, if you’re the mom of a preschooler, you will be with other preschool moms; and if you’re the mom of a high schooler, you will be with other high school moms.
We start the meeting with coffee/tea and a delicious brunch. Seriously, we aren’t trying to brag, but we are known for our brunch! Then each meeting will have either a speaker who talks about a wide range of topics such as parenting, marriage, friendship, cooking, finances, etc., or we work on a super simple craft while we talk to the people at our tables.
Each table has a table leader who organizes get together’s during the month. We are passionate about people feeling connected and having a purpose. This life was not meant to be lived alone, so come and join us as we walk side by side during our parenting journey.
We meet one to two times a month from 9:30-11:30 am. Our Fall semester starts in September, and the Spring semester begins in January. The cost to join is $199 per semester, and that covers all children you have that require childcare during our program, or $100 per semester with no childcare. Small babies are more than welcome to come with you, but we ask that once they are moving around, they are placed in childcare to help everyone focus on being together.
If you are a mom with a baby all the way up to a mom of a high schooler, please come join us! We would love to walk alongside you during each stage of raising children.
