At Sunridge, we love babies! We would love to care for your baby and show your little one the love of Jesus while you are in the worship service.
Toddlers love to play, and we love playing with them. We show toddlers the love of Jesus by providing a consistent face, engaging them in play, and singing songs to Jesus.
Young children love stories, and we love engaging them in Bible stories as young as possible. The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the one story underneath all the stories of the Bible and points to the birth of a child, the rescuer, Jesus. The Jesus Storybook Bible paints a beautiful portrait of Jesus and invites children to see that He is not only at the center of God’s great story of redemption, He is at the center of their story too! We also plan age-appropriate worship and lots of small group fun.
Kids want to know where they fit in so it’s our goal that they are known and accepted here. Then we can share God’s love and His gospel message with them. We teach the Bible as the story of God’s rescue plan through Jesus Christ. Each child has an adult (small group leader) beyond their parents who will communicate the same message of faith in Jesus. We also plan age-appropriate worship and go deeper in small groups. It’s our goal to assist parents in laying down a gospel-centered, Christ-saturated foundation for their kids.
If you have children newborn to 5th grade, get started by stopping at the information desk just inside the front entry doors. For your children’s safety, we will input your information at the child check-in kiosk, get their name tags and help you find the right room for each of them. Or if you’d rather have them with you during the service—no problem. Although our services are designed for adults (high school age and older), children are always welcome. And if you need a cry room, we have those available too. Just ask any usher.
