Fourth- and fifth-graders have their own brand of energy and Block 45 is a space specially designed for them. We start with activities that focus their attention, then move into worship, prayer and teaching. We teach the Bible as the story of God’s rescue plan through Jesus Christ. Each child has an adult (small group leader) beyond their parents who will communicate the same message of faith in Jesus. But “church” is not just about Sundays! We also plan special events and opportunities, like our Block 45 camps, that encourage wholesome friendships that often last into the middle school years and longer. It is our goal to assist parents in laying down a gospel-centered, Christ-saturated foundation for their kids.
Child Check-In
If you have children who are newborn to 5th graders, get started by stopping at the information desk just inside the front entry doors. For your children’s safety, we will input your information at the child check-in kiosk, get their name tags, and help you find the right room for each of them. Or if you’d rather have them with you during the service—no problem. Although our services are designed for adults (high school age and older), children are always welcome. And if you need a cry room, we have those available too. Just ask any usher.
