Sunridge MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMSnext (Mothers of Elementary through 12th grade kids) is a group dedicated to helping women get connected with others during each stage of motherhood!
Many people ask us what a typical MOPS/ MOMSNext morning looks like. For those with kids age kindergarten and younger, childcare is provided. You may drop your littles off in childcare (where they are cared for by our workers who have been background and referenced checked) and head inside to sit with other moms who share children of the same age and life stage. For example, if you are the mom of a preschooler, you will be connected with other preschool moms; and if you’re the mom of a high schooler, you will be seated with other high school moms.
We start the meeting with coffee and tea and a delicious brunch. Seriously, we aren’t trying to brag, but we are known for our brunch! Each meeting has a speaker who talks about a wide range of topics such as: parenting, marriage, friendship, cooking, finances, etc. or we work on a simple craft while we connect with the ladies at our tables.
Each table has a table leader who organizes get-togethers during the month. We are passionate about people feeling connected and having a purpose. This life was not meant to be lived alone, so come and join us as we walk side by side during our parenting journey.
We meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 9:30-11:30 am. The Spring semester begins January 16. The cost to join is $185 per semester and that covers childcare during our program, or $110 per semester without childcare. Small babies are more than welcome to accompany you to the meeting; but we ask that once they are mobile, they are placed in childcare in order to help all of us focus on being together.
If you are a mama with a baby on the way up to a mom of a high schooler, please come join us! We would love to walk alongside you during each stage of raising children.
