Women’s Fall Studies
At Sunridge, we believe as you participate in our Women’s Ministry Events and Bible Studies, you will find a place to be yourself, grow in faith, and connect with others.
We truly feel Women’s Bible Studies are a great place to deepen our faith in Jesus as we study His word and connect with other women who share that passion. We not only learn and grow together, but we encourage and bring hope to one another.
We offer several studies throughout the week at various times and days. Take your time to review the Studies to find one that’s just right for you.
Fall Studies
This fall, the Sunridge Women’s Bible Studies point us to the men and women of the Bible who walked before us in faith, and even though our modern-day challenges are different, the life lessons are the same: we can find joy in our trials, strength to persevere through the pain, and learn to walk faithfully in the abundant gift of God’s grace.
Wednesday Morning
You’ll Get Through This – Max Lucado
You fear you won’t make it through. We all do. We fear that the depression will never lift, the yelling will never stop, the pain will never leave. In the pits, surrounded by steep walls and aching reminders, we wonder: Will this gray sky ever brighten? This load ever lighten?
Stephanie Johnson will lead us through Max Lucado’s 8-week study on the life of Joseph, where we will walk with Joseph in his prosperity and in his trials and learn how he trusts God in all of it.

Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Location: Sunridge Community Church Room 122

James: The Relationship Between Faith and Works – Dr. David Jeremiah
“To claim to belong to Jesus, but mirror the attitude and actions of the world, may be a sign that they are only fooling themselves.” -Dr. David Jeremiah
Faith is what we believe. Works are what we do. This in-depth study of the Book of James will help us learn how to practically put our faith into action.
Anna Gardner will lead us through this 13-week chapter-by-chapter study in the Book of James, where we will see that the same advice given by James to the Jewish Christians of the New Testament still applies to us today.
Date: Wednesdays, September 17 – December 17, 2025
Time: 9:30 am – 11:00 am
Location: Sunridge Community Church Room 110

Daring Joy – Nicole Zasowski.
Take courage and hold onto Biblical joy regardless of your circumstances.
Joy can feel risky. When you’ve experienced pain of any kind, it can feel easier not to dream than to be disappointed, or not to hope than to be left heartbroken. If you ever feel like it’s safer not to embrace joy at all than to hold something that might break, you’re not alone.
Come along with Debbie Munsey on Wednesday mornings this fall as she leads us through a study of the lives of Eve, Sarah, Miriam, Mary, Elizabeth, and Mary Magdalene and learn, not just how the fruit of the spirit of JOY was displayed in their lives, but how we might embrace and experience it in our lives.
Date: Wednesdays, October 1 – November 12, 2025
Time: 9:30 am – 11:00 am
Location: Sunridge Community Church Room 109
Childcare: 7-week session available for $25 per child

1 Corinthians: Fall 2025
“Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:8a
Paul’s letter to the Corinthian church includes the famous LOVE verse above. But the book of 1 Corinthians is more than just a reminder that love never fails. It’s about living a gospel-centered life in unity with those around you.
Bring your Bible, a notebook, and a pen, and Pam Samuels will take you chapter by chapter; verse by verse; with no required prep or assigned homework. And, since we meet during the time of the high school ministry, we take time each week to pray over the students and leaders. You are welcome to join us whenever you can!
