What are Formation Nights at Sunridge? Formation Nights are short-term, interactive courses designed to help us become more like Jesus. Each course combines biblical teaching, honest conversation around the table, and simple spiritual practices that move us beyond information toward transformation.
Whether we’re learning to study the Bible, exploring the teachings of Jesus, strengthening our marriages, or growing in prayer, our goal is the same: to become apprentices of Jesus who increasingly reflect His character in everyday life.

This Session’s Classes:
The Sermon On The Mount: For centuries, Christians have returned to the Sermon on the Mount because it is Jesus’ clearest picture of life in the Kingdom of God. Join Lead Pastor Britt Sipe for these three interactive evenings as we journey through Matthew 5–7 together, discovering not only what Jesus taught but the kind of people He is forming.
Parenting: Have you ever wondered why your children don’t do what you ask? We will answer this question, and Pastor Marla Pitzek, LMFT, will be helping us learn how to establish appropriate authority without creating a home filled with arguing, nagging, threats, frustration, and resentment. The goal is not to control our children, but to become clearer, calmer, more consistent parents who exercise appropriate Christ-like authority, prepare our children for increasing responsibility and maturity, and create more loving and peaceful homes.
Formation Kids: We’ll worship, play games, build relationships, and grow together in the Word as followers of Jesus. Each night will include big-group teaching and small-group discussion. Each child will take home a Discipleship Journal for continuing the conversations at home.
