The Lost Art of Listening

Britt Sipe

We've never had more communication devices available to us, yet we're talking less than ever. Have you noticed that we often talk "at" each other, rather than "to" each other? And it seems that no one is listening, let alone, learning. Our inability to talk affects us in virtually every relationship: our marriages, friendships, and relationships with people at church are a few examples. And of course, talking problems are exacerbated whenever the “discussion” turns to politics. "Let's Talk" is a weekly teaching series about how “having God in my life” makes it possible for us to meet people where they are ‒ even if where they are isn't where we are.
