You Came to Our Temecula Church for Your New Year’s Resolution, Now Join the Life!
It’s January and we’ve started to see some new faces around the Sunridge campus. This happens every year because “going back to church” tends to be a popular New Year’s resolution for many people.
If you’re one of those people who decided to start attending church in 2024—welcome! We’re glad you’re here! We hope that our regular attendees have made you feel welcome and that you’ve enjoyed your time here so far. We work hard to make sure that our campus is approachable and easy to navigate, and that everyone who steps foot on it feels like they belong here—because they do!
Being part of a church is about more than just coming on Sunday mornings and sitting through a service, however. It’s about meeting people who are also seeking a closer relationship with Christ and learning and growing together. It’s about finding a place for your kids where they can be loved and encouraged in their own journey of faith. It’s about serving our community together. And sometimes, it’s just about having fun and enjoying life as a church family! Here at Sunridge, we offer many ways to do that through groups, activities, Bible studies, and more.
We’re not trying to add more items to your to-do list. We know you probably have more than enough activities on your calendar already. What we are trying to do is provide you with ways to “join the life” here at our Temecula church. We know it can be hard to get to know people on Sunday mornings. There’s only so much time to talk before and after the service. That’s why we have mid-week groups and activities going on all the time. They are designed to help you find your tribe and also grow in your walk with the Lord.
We have what we call “Growth Groups” that are held in various homes around the Temecula Valley, as well as Bible studies held here on our campus. In addition, we have “Affinity Groups” that are made up of people who enjoy the same types of activities, such as basketball, pickleball, sewing, or mountain biking. We also have groups for kids of all ages. Joining a group is a great way to meet people who could become lifelong friends!
If you’re ready to get more involved here at our Temecula church, check out our Signup page to see what types of groups and activities are available. If you’re not quite ready to jump into a group but want to learn more about our church and the groups we offer, we invite you to attend one of our “Welcome to Sunridge” meetings. Welcome to Sunridge takes place on the first Sunday of every month, right after the Sunday morning service, in Room 109. You can meet some of the pastors and leaders of our church and ask any questions you may have. Your kids are welcome as well! We want to get to know your whole family and help you feel more at home at our church.
Again… welcome! We’re so glad you chose Sunridge as your church!
