Finding a church that’s the right “fit” can be tough. Whether you recently moved to Temecula or you’ve been here for a while and are just now looking for a church to join, it can be hard to know where to start looking for the right church for you and your family. Since the pandemic, many churches have started livestreaming their services or placing recordings of their Sunday sermons online. Watching a few sermons can give you a good idea of what you can expect with regard to the teaching of a church, but it’s also important to know what a church values and if its values match your own. Here are four things that we highly value at Sunridge Church:

Helping People Find and Follow Jesus

At Sunridge, it is our mission to help people find and follow Jesus. What this mission should tell you about us is that we are here for you—whether you already have a saving faith in Jesus Christ or if you are simply curious to learn what it means to put your trust in Jesus.

We are all learning and growing together. Yes, some of us are further along in our faith journeys than others, but that’s OK! You don’t have to have it all together before you come to Sunridge. Everyone is welcome here, and we’re all works in progress!

Teaching the Bible Unapologetically

Our pastors teach straight from the Bible every Sunday. Our church is committed to teaching the truth, even if it’s unpopular. We don’t shy away from tough issues or change what the Bible says to fit with the current culture, but we will also help you apply biblical truths to your real-life circumstances.

Caring for Children and Youth

Ever since our Temecula church was founded more than 30 years ago, we’ve always placed a heavy emphasis on caring for the children and youth in our church. When you bring your children with you to Sunridge, they will be cared for by our committed and well-trained volunteers. Your children will be taught about Jesus and His love for them in a safe and fun environment. We have age-appropriate programs for children from newborn through high school.

Fostering Community

Our church doesn’t have “membership” like some other churches do, but we do highly encourage our regular attendees to be active participants at Sunridge. You can jump in and get involved with what is going on at our Temecula church at any time! We offer so much more than just a Sunday morning church service. We have many different groups and events going on at all times, including Bible studies, Growth Groups, support groups, and more.

We work hard to create opportunities for people to form friendships and build a community within the church. Our hope is that our attendees will find others who will help them learn more about Jesus, grow in their faith, and who will walk alongside them in their everyday lives.
