In machinery, a pivot is referred to as the mechanism upon which other parts rotate or turn. A pivot assists in absorbing negative energy and then translates it into positive energy. In human movement, to pivot is to abruptly move in a new direction. The location in which this occurs is sometimes called a pivot point.
Like machined systems, life has its pivotal points. They give us an opportunity to reevaluate, a chance to send energy in a new direction. At Sunridge on Father’s Day, we will have a conversation with a guy who is a husband, father, employee, and Christian who experienced a pivotal point. For him, the pivot isn’t really the main point, but ever since the pivot in his experience, all those labels look different. Maybe yours will too after you hear his story.
