Part-Time High School Pastor

Sunridge is currently seeking to fill the position of Part-Time High School Pastor. We are looking for an individual to fill a 20-hour per week position. The position is ready to be filled immediately.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualities:

Enjoys being with high school students.

Possess or working toward an appropriate degree.

Gifted at engaging others in ministry.

Relevant communication skills.

Ability to plan and administrate.

Responds well to coaching and guidance from supervisor.

Seeks growth and personal development.

Primary Responsibilities

Mentor and lead high school students into an authentic relationship with Jesus.

Recruit, equip and develop adult volunteers in high school ministry.

Create a team spirit with adult volunteers

Hold a minimum of one mid-week and one Sunday morning student gathering with an explicit and defined strategy for each.

Plan and implement regular events for students to connect, have fun and invite their friends.

Hang out with students and support their extra-curricular activities.

Partner with parents in shared values and adolescent development.

Prepare students for a life of faith after high school.

Cooperate and work well with other staff.

Other duties as assigned.

Agree to support Sunridge beliefs, core values, mission and vision.

Maintain a Christian witness and good reputation in the community.

Pay Range

The pay for the part-time high school pastor ranges from $17.50 – $21.00 per hour.
