Part-Time Facilities Manager
Sunridge is currently seeking to fill the position of Facilities Manager to keep pace with the increasing demands on our newly renovated 54,000 sq. ft. church building situated on approximately 8 acres. We are looking for an individual to fill a 25-hour per week position, primarily a daytime shift and some weekends. The position is ready to be filled immediately.
Job Description
Primary Purpose
The Facilities Manager oversees the management and care of the facilities of the church. Provides oversight and responsibility for the building, grounds, parking lots, equipment, building systems, general security, and housekeeping, ensuring the facilities are fully operational, safe, clean and neat, and prepared for services and ministry activities. Oversee and perform maintenance/repairs for the church building, equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical) and property, or mange outside contractors required to service the aforementioned. Coordinate and manage a robust internal safety program. Act as church representative with outside contractors and inspectors coming onto the property or into the building. Holds the position of project manager for all facility related projects.

Specific List of Responsibilities
- Manage all work related to the maintenance and repair of the facility (including but not limited to building inspections, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, custodial, landscape, waste management and security)
- Ensure facility and grounds are well maintained and ready for Sunday services and mid-week events
- Manage janitorial/cleaning of the facilities mid-week, weekends, and as needed
- Hold position/role of Project Manager for all facility related projects, including but not limited to: determining scope, building collaborative teams (staff & volunteer), budget management, milestone deliverables, and communication
Responsible for purchasing and maintaining supplies and equipment on an on-going basis - Serve as primary contact for facility related emergencies, which may require evening and weekend work
- Manage event support. Coordinate with event leads for proper scheduling of set up and tear down for meetings, special events, worship, weddings, memorial services
- Work with appropriate government agencies to ensure that the facility is safe and meets current code requirements; Must be familiar with and ensure compliance of OSHA regulations and standards
- Implement, monitor, and follow policies and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and provide efficient use of labor and materials
- Manage expenditures related to the building, facilities, and grounds repairs and maintenance in accordance with the approved budget
- Schedule and coordinate work with outside contractors, as necessary
- Manage a commercial recycle and hazmat/waste program
- Develop and manage paid staff and volunteer facilities teams. Schedule and coordinate efforts of the team, as needed.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred (in a related field)
- Experience: Track record of proven ability to recruit and lead volunteer teams
- Basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing skills required. Carpentry skills would be a plus

- Not required for this position

- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Free from physical limitations that would prevent basic office work
