Gezellig. Ever heard of this word? If you are Dutch, you might have. It is impossible to translate into English, so we use a series of words to capture the meaning. It is defined as having a feeling of togetherness in a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. It is the feeling you have when you have experienced a long absence from someone, and you are finally together again. Gezellig is a sense of belonging.
It has been 3 years since our last retreat together learning about Jesus and building community. Our retreat will look different this year. Instead of going away for a weekend, join us on April 22nd as we listen to an abbreviated version of the IF Gathering. If you don’t know what the IF Gathering is click here. We will start at 7:30 am with a light continental breakfast and finish before dinner. If you have attended our retreats before you know there is laughter, too much food, games, a focus on building community as well as a desire to know Jesus more.
We hope you will join us as we come together to experience Gezellig. Invite a friend to join you! We are not designed to be alone. Make sure to signup by March 2nd and you will receive a special IF Gathering gift!!
