When we’re young, we go on adventures. We make-believe. Typically, we invite our friends to pretend and play alongside us. As we get older, however, we do less imagining. Life gets more real. And yet for some reason, we begin convincing ourselves that we can somehow manage reality as it comes, by ourselves. This is the exact opposite of the life God invites us to be a part of.
Epic HSM’s twoEight Retreat is a one-night, on-campus event devoted to exploring and experiencing what it means to do life as described in 1 Thessalonians 2:8. Beginning on Friday, February 26, and concluding on Saturday, February 27, students and adult leaders will share meals, worship, pray, dialogue, play, and take part in biblical, Christ-centered community.
Finally, the retreat will give students and leaders an opportunity to envision twoEight groups, which will be off-campus small groups that will launch at the beginning of March. Register your student below!
