When Helping Hurts is a small-group experience that will guide our congregation in thinking about the nature of poverty, our part in its alleviation, and how we can help people in ways that align with the Gospel. We’ll meet for 6 consecutive Sunday nights in the MPR from 5-7 pm. Each meeting will include dinner, a short video, and discussion in small groups that stay the same each week. No homework is required, although you may find yourself thinking about the class material all week long as you relate it to your daily life! Content builds each week, so please make every effort to attend all 6 nights to get the most out of the experience.
