Colleen became a believer at a young age-probably around 6 years old. She committed her life to Christ during her freshman year of high school. It was at that time that she also felt a call to the mission field. A missionary came and spoke to her youth group, and she sensed God was calling her…the desire came in college, but the sense of His call was at a very young age. Currently, she works with at-risk boys at a public high school. God is growing and stretching her as she loves and honors those that society and even believers find hard to love. Her role with the Staff Care Team of CRM has been in hiatus at this time, but she plans to get more involved again next year when her youngest graduates from high school.
In jr. high, Kevin was invited to a youth group activity that involved Magic Mountain. That experience got him in the door, and he found Jesus through the fun activities the youth group provided. God used some significant classes and professors at Biola University, missionary mentors and his relationship with Colleen to pull his heart and skills toward missions. After 18 years serving in a variety of roles within CRM while it grew, he is currently transitioning into the role of Director of Operations. He oversees all the systems that keep CRM running, from HR to IT, to rebuilding donation systems.
